Sequencers??

--Have been googling with little success. I'm in need of a couple of robust 3-channel sequencers, but all the ones I've found so far use AAA cells and only run 5ft per channel! Can anyone point me to better ones that are still DC but capable of running something like 20 to
40ft per channel?
--Cool Neon used to sell these neat sequencers with speed controls and aluminum cases, but they didn't last very long and the closest thing to it costs twice as much and does way too much now...

WorldAglow.com carries the 4 channel. If you have only 3 wires, you can hook one of the wires up to 2 of the 4 channels. That wire will flash twice during each sequence.

Hack the 3 channel driver and put a larger inverter inside.
Buy the expensive CAT 9, it will do any number of channels and is programmable.
The 4 channel sequencer only does 1 pattern, 1.2.3.4 repeat to 1.2.3.4
Buy a sequences kit (for leds) and build your own.

Have several Cat O Nines; what I don't like about 'em is the number of programs and the fact that every time you start 'em up the program seems to change at random! There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it, which sorta destroys the illusion when trying to animate something. Oh well, time's up! Everything's wired up and more or less complete now. Packing today and tomorrow. Come see results at Rue Morgue camp, on the 9:00 mini-esplanade.

there's something in the instructions about how to kick it out of 'demo mode' so it will power up i the same pattern that it was when you powered it off.....of course, I don't have said manual in front of me...
