It faded to almost invisible and then simply stopped working, and I don't know what's wrong. Thought this was the best place to ask. :)

Wed, October 31, 2007 - 12:11 PMYou may need a new Sequencer/control pack -www.coolneon.com is in the Bay area, they have them and a workshop of EL enthusiats. The panels usually hold up pretty well, check the pin connectors and change out the controller.

Fri, November 16, 2007 - 2:29 PMIt could just be a bad connection some place. Check all the solder joints and any place where there is a lot of flex in the wires or the EL.

P.S. If it's old or been used a lot the EL could just be at the end of it's life. It does wear out, becoming dimmer and then failing.
